Google rolled out a new design for Gmail some time back(maybe a month ago or more) but a lot of people did not like the new design and wanted to rollback to the older version. Google gives you an option to revert back to the old theme temporarily. When Google disables the old look, everyone will be automatically moved on to the new look. But right now, you have a choice so you can decide whatever you like!
Well, doing this is an easy task. You just need to click on one thing! To get started, log in to your Gmail account. When you open up the Inbox(which is opened by default), click on the settings icon you see on the right side. It looks like this :
Now, click on it and a drop down menu will appear. Just choose "Revert to the Old Look Temporarily". This will then show you a pop up asking your confirmation that you need to switch back. Just confirm there and voila! You are now back on the old Gmail style!
