10 Keyboard Shortcuts you Should Know

Time is a very important thing in our lives and saving it for other works is also an art! To save time, we try to find shortcuts that are time efficient yet useful. While working on the computer, you need to perform a lot of tasks in order to get the desired output. So, here we are presenting you with a list of shortcuts that you can use in your day-to-day life that will indeed help you save some time!

Well, most of the shortcuts that I shall share here, you might already be aware of! In that case, consider that these are for those who are not aware of those particular shortcuts.

 

 

 

1. Ctrl + C or Ctrl + Insert : Copy the selected text or the selected item(s).


2. Ctrl + X : Cuts the selected text or the selected item(s).


3. Ctrl + V or Shift + Insert : Paste's the text or the item(s) that are on the clipboard.


4. Ctrl + Z : Undo any change, whether in a document editor or when you rename or move any file or folder.


5. Ctrl + Y : Redo the undone change if it was un-done by mistake.


6. Alt + Tab : Quickly shift between the open windows or applications.


7. Win Key + M : Minimize all the open windows at once. Say, if your boss comes at a time and you need to minimize all, just use this shortcut.


8. Ctrl + Home or Ctrl + End : Move the cursor when editing a text to the beginning(Home) or to the end (End).


9. Win Key + E : This shortcut, opens up the Windows explorer with the My Computer as the default view.


10. Ctrl + Backspace : This shortcut will delete one word at a time instead of one character at a time.

Well, there are many other keyboard shortcuts, but these are the ones I use in my daily routine. These have helped me save a lot of time and I hope they continue doing that.
