Facebook is one of the most common social networking sites these days and almost everyone is on Facebook these days, be it a teenager or an old man! Everyone tries to connect with their family and friends at the ease of a mouse click. But, sometimes there are certain things that happen with you on Facebook that force you to delete your account! And most of the time, people just end up disabling their account so that they can enable it whenever they want again! The reason to leave Facebook might be one from the real life and might not concern Facebook, but you feel like deleting your account!



Well, here is a simple tutorial how to delete your Facebook account permanently. But before you proceed ahead, think twice before deleting your account because once it is deleted, you will never be able to get back on Facebook using the same Account and the same friends. You will have to start from scratch. How to Disable your Facebook Account:

1. Go to Facebook and log in.


2. After you log in, click on the right most arrow, next to your name on the top menu bar and choose Account Settings.
   


3. After you open account settings, choose Security from the left side options and then Choose Deactivate your account.
   


4. Choose this option and then you will be shown with pictures of a few of your friends, saying that they will miss you. But if you are sure on disabling your account, choose Disable on the screen.


5. Next, you will be asked to tell them a reason for leaving. Choose the appropriate reason and then describe it below(Optional).
   


6. Also, if you want to opt-out of emails from Facebook, check mark the option below there.
   


7. There you are! You have successfully disabled your Facebook account. If you ever wish to re-enable it, just log in to Facebook with your email ID and Password and you will be able to re-enable your account!

How to Delete your Facebook Account:

1. Visit the Account Deletion Page by clicking here.


2. Click Delete my account.
   


3. Enter your password and then enter the CAPTCHA and click on Okay.
   


4. After you have done that, you will be shown with the following message that grants you fourteen days to log in back to Facebook and stop the account deletion! So, you have enough time to think what your life is without Facebook!
